I got this in the Balkans, and it's from Germany, 1950s era. We're not experts on pens, but know the Pelikan quality. It's gold trimmed, has only Pelikan-Germany engraved around the gold ring, the nib is marked "B". Screws off and tighens well, appears ready to use, but we'll grant any return request. No scratches or dings or flaws that i can see. Add'l photos on request..
