Item description:
This is a very large Japanese Satsuma vase measuring about 13" (33cm) high, and 10 3/4" (27.3cm) across at the widest diameter.  The bottom is signed Tanzan.  This spectacular piece has the heavy overglaze enamelling typical of Tanzan, with fine detailing around the neck and foot, and subtle shading of the leaves and flowers.  Sometime in the past, this vase was converted into a lamp.  Except for a carefully made 1/4" (6mm) hole on the side near the bottom edge, and a few light rubs and scratches, the vase was preserved with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs.

Thank you for your interest in the Tanzan vase.

The least expensive shipping, with safe packing, to Australia would be $81.95 and that includes $96.00 indemnity.  To have added insurance, it would require shipping via EMS.  Considering what it will cost to ship, yes I will accept your offer.  If you will let me know just prior to payment being available, I will close the auction at that time.
