This is a beautiful Japanese Satsuma vase with a background design of birds, fans and waves and 2 reserves - 1 reserve of flowers, maple and birds and the other reserve of what appears to be a woman and two children surrounded by flowers. The vase measures about 6" high and is about 3" at the widest point (across the corners). The piece is signed ´Senzan´, I believe, and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs that I´ve found. There is some expected light wear of the gilt.
