hey cousin alf,
that's might magnamous of you to help her as our friend PN has been compromised by delcampe. he would do the same for her as well. he did it for me and emailed me this morning to remind me in no uncertain terms that the 'brits drool' or somethin' like that. i do miss him on the forum. i liked pickin' on him and his mangy cats. and i'm a leo? and i like dogs? i must be bi-polar. but my advice was true, we do have problems here in america with moneybookers. it is not what it says it is. the american banking system is very funny with credit checks now that many of the banks have been compromised by hackers. this is why PAYPAL is so popular here. of course, there are a lot of scammers always trying to get into your PAYPAL account via scam emails but the wary, alert customer will know not to answer them. and i have had problems with sending cash to the middle east, esp. turkey. lost a payment with a money order, go figure with that one. how they thought they could cash an american money order is beyond me, but they stole it from the mail. and sending euros from the u.s. is almost impossible from most cities. we don't have any banks that have any. this is very true in tampa. the only place that carries any euros is the busch gardens amusement park, but you have to pay to get in there. so you see the enormous problems christine was facing. :crying2:
later gators,
cajunsr.

Hello crab eater,

yes, I know about your funny money transfer ways. And I guess (like you can read on top) that it's not mainly the fault of moneybookers, it will be caused by money restrictions you created in there - and your banks will as well not enjoy another player on market. Generally I don't have anything against PayPal - I only dislike their fees. Especially for cheaper items it's impossible to use, last weeks it happened 3 times, that I had to ADD money to the transactions - and to add means, that the items, cover, work and so on were free and there was still an amount to be added. Caused by postage, weak USD and PayPal fees. In all, it will not kill me, I'm doing this not to earn money, mainly it's just fun - but on the other hand I have to ask myself, if I'm still working correctly or turned a little screwed...
If you keep PayPal that strong, you may wait for some higher fees, they will take what's possible, so seen from my point of view the better idea would be to get some market - kick your banks in there. Your funny MO's and personal cheques will not be any help, because with them our banks are earning "some" money, they take a little fee of 12 - 15 USD each... Sending cash is possible, but talking about safety, first have a look at US mail, I know, that there's no need to tell you about...

 You're wrong twice. Not ebay is any problem - as well as PayPal is one. The only problem is the user complaining - but not searching for any alternative. Ebay said some years ago, that they don't like all the collectors in there (what made them growing) and see themselves instead on the same level as e.g. electronic markets, department stores and so on. That way they changed fee structure. For me there's no need to be in any place where I'm not welcome, there are a lot other places like e.g. Delcampe. Same PayPal - with same intention, you can't use it for "peanuts", so I will not do. No need to camplain, but some need to change something by my own. :pc_user:
