I recently found an envelope with old unused 3 and 4 cent US postage stamps in my Dad's house. I have tried to look up online how to value these but still unclear to me. They are in blocks of 2, 4, 8, etc.--all different- in what I believe is excellent condition. Do I just use them on my letters and packages?

hi cara,
as you live in the u.s., i suggest you can visit your local library and see if they have a recent copy of the scott u.s. specialized catalog or vol. 1 of the scott world catalogs. this will show the u.s. stamps and values for the stamps you have. you will probably find most of them are not worth very much, so using them for postage is probably a good idea. good luck on your search.
