hi y'all,
well, guess things have calmed down on the french forum. thought i was in vietnam again with all the rocks and bottles flying between the british and french there. but i hope peace is at hand. momma is finally back from colorado and went grocery shopping yesterday. one of the items she brought home is cajun peanuts. these are boiled peanuts but with some cayenne pepper added to the water. and they have a nice little tang to them. :angryfire: that's right, they set your tongue on fire, but just a little. but they tastes so good, you just got to have more. now the cajun has 3 oak trees in his yard and lots of squirrels. and he has trained some of them to come down and get peanuts from him at very close quarters. i wonder if they would like a cajun peanut. hmmmm, i guess i better have a glass of water ready if i do. when these squirrels get mad, they sound like my french cousins on the forum when they are angry. and bark at me like a little dog. no insult to you my cousins, i am just pulling your leg with my cajun humor again. but you would laugh with me if you heard them, it is very comical. :D .
such is life in the cajun's swamp. take care my cousins, have a good weekend.
a bientot,
cajunsr.

hi y'all,
well, took time to sit in the back yard today with momma. nice and cool under the shady oak trees even in the summer heat. momma brought out a diet coke for me and those cajun peanuts. and some regular peanuts for the squirrels. now i know how to make a bark like a squirrel and sure enough before long i had 3 of them down for dinner. and no, i did not give them the pepper peanuts, just the regular ones. but i did want to give them to that peanut snatchin blue jay that steals them from the squirrels. next time i will and see what happens to him. i will probably get dived bombed by the rascal. my dog, pepper, a black cocker spaniel eats them too, not the hot ones :angryfire: , but the regular peanuts. thinks he is an elephant or somethin'. but what i really think he is doing is tryin' to fool the squirrels into thinking he is one of them. and when they come down close for a peanut-WHAM :smash: , squirrel stew for pepper :D . and who says dogs are stupid.
later gator,
cajunsr.
