I have in my pocession a stamp album belonging to my late mother who was an avid collecter. The collection belongs to her active era which spanned the 1930's to the 1960's. Though not a stamp collector, I can make out that the album contains many stamps that were never seen in recent times and of places/countries that have long passed into history. Consequenty, I expect these stamps to be of considerable interest to collectors besides being valuable.
Can any experiences collector please advise me on how to go about getting the collection assessed and realistically valued.
